Welcome to Filmed On Phones! By booking with us or using our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Overview

Filmed On Phones provides wedding video editing services using footage filmed by guests (“Filmers”) on their smartphones. We supply guidance for filming, and customers upload footage via a secure link. We then edit and deliver a final video via digital download.

2. Payments & Refunds

  • Payment Options: Customers may pay in full when booking or up to one month before the wedding.

  • Refunds:

    • A full refund is available if no editing work has begun.

    • Once footage has been uploaded and editing has started, refunds are no longer available.

    • Rescheduling is free of charge.

3. Delivery

  • We aim to deliver the final video within 28 days of the wedding date. This is an estimate and not a guaranteed timeframe.

  • Videos are delivered as digital downloads only.

4. Revisions

  • One free revision is included.

  • Additional revisions may incur charges, depending on complexity.

  • Music is selected prior to editing and cannot be changed afterwards.

5. Usage Rights & Permissions

  • Customers may use and share their final video freely.

  • We will only use footage in our own marketing or on social media if the couple has explicitly agreed.

  • By uploading footage, Filmers grant permission for it to be used in the couple’s wedding video.

  • If the couple has agreed to marketing use, Filmer footage may also be used by us for promotional purposes.

6. Cancellations

  • Cancellations are fully refundable if editing hasn’t started.

  • No refunds will be issued once the editing process is underway.

7. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Footage not being uploaded or being of poor quality

  • Missed moments or technical issues beyond our control

  • Delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances

  • Loss of data after download (please back up your video)

8. Communications (SMS & Email)

We send SMS and email messages to Filmers to provide filming guidance, reminders, and a secure upload link. These messages are sent on behalf of the couple using contact details the couple supplies to us.

  • Consent & Source of Data: The couple provides Filmer names, mobile numbers, and emails for the sole purpose of creating the couple’s wedding video.

  • Message Types: Guidance, reminders, and upload portal links. No marketing is sent to Filmers.

  • Opt-Out: Filmers may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. Email recipients can unsubscribe via the link in the email or by contacting us.

  • Frequency: Limited to what’s necessary to support filming and uploads (typically a small number of messages around the wedding).

  • Charges: We don’t charge for messages, but standard carrier/message/data rates may apply.

  • Links & Security: Upload and guidance links point to our domains and are intended only for the couple and invited Filmers.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any change implies acceptance of the new terms.
